little pumpkin

Can't believe I forgot to post my little pumpkins picture of her first Halloween!
 Isn't my pumpkin adorable?
She was a bit embarrsed by her costume.
Why do you make me look so silly?
Isn't that what Moms are supposed to do???  Embarrass their "kids"?  ; )

boo!

Cousin meet up before trick-or-treating starts.
My three little treaters - the mighty lion, Pocahontas, and Jessie.

Ok, I know there is an abundance of Reese pictures, but I couldn't pick which one was the cutest.  She LOVED being a lion.

Look at that roar!!!

Pretty fierce looking, right?!

Quick stop at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's before collecting the loot.
Then back home to trick-or-treat with more cousins!

One trip around our sub-division was enough candy for us.  Ended the night with a trip for dinner to Red Robin.  Thanks cousins for coming with us!

harvest party

One of the perks of being my girls kindergarten teacher is being able to be at every class party and field trip.
Addy can usually be found with her cousin, Briella.

Harvest party = so much fun!

While looking through these pictures, I noticed that Addy never seemed to be looking at the camera....I took them on my school camera a digital camera where you look through the screen and not the view finder...she is use to me taking pictures where she has to look right at my eyes though the camera...funny.  : )

weekend up north

We headed up north this past weekend.  We had Fall Break so we had an extra day off.  We had to pack our camper away for the winter and also were able to spend some nice time with family.  We got up there Friday in time for a late lunch at our favorite pizza place.  Next up was a stop at my uncle and aunts house to do some apple picking.  We had MUCH better luck at finding apples at their house than we did at the apple orchard.  All of Uncle Lehn's trees were dripping with apples.

Next up was feeding their cows.

Each of the girls were able to give it a try.

Reese (and all the girls) loved all the kitties.
After time at their house we stopped by Papa's field to help him finish up harvesting the beans.  Each of the girls were able to spend time with him in the combine.

Presley (and her missing front tooth) waiting her turn to help Papa.

After he finished up we all headed back to spend the evening at Great Grandma D.'s house along with more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Saturday we lazed around a bit before taking the camper back and tucked it in for the winter, visited Great Grandma D a bit, and stopped for a late lunch at our favorite Mexican place before leaving town to head back home.  It was a quick trip but we packed as much as we could into it!

round 2

We had another beautiful warm and sunny day so why not head out to another pumpkin patch with more cousins?
Trenton and Tyler both happened to be in town so we met up for a quick visit to check out the pumpkins.

Thanks family for inviting us to spend the time with you.  Next year, same time?
