Presley's 7th Birthday - friends

Sunday was Presley's friend party.

 Somehow this year our list of invitees doubled and were were expecting 13 little girls plus the 3 girls from our house.  But unfortunately 2 girls were sick so we had a total of 14 little girls.  Lots of squeals and giggles.

 There were lots more cute gifts.

 And yummy cupcakes with ice cream cones.

Most of the girls were from school...either in her class this year or last.  Plus a few cousins, neighbors and life long friends.

 Ana is Presley best friend from school.

 So thankful Nana and Papa made it down.  We know how busy they are this time of year in Papa's fields, but very thankful to have them here.

Presley's 7th Birthday Party - family

Hard to believe we celebrated Presley's 7th birthday this past weekend.  Saturday was family party day. 

She got lots clothes, jewelry, accessories as well as a Hello Kitty blanket she has been asking for ever since Addison got one in the hospital over spring break.  She also got her very own Ipod touch.  Definitely a favorite! 

 She requested Fun da-Middles cupcakes along with vanilla ice cream.

Happy Birthday Presley.  Hope this year brings lots of great things for you.  Love you baby girl!!!

Mother's Day

The 3 reasons I can celebrate my favorite holiday - Mother's Day. 

Presley was in NO MOOD for a picture... such is life. : )  Still happy to have my girls even when they aren't in the best of moods. 

1st camping trip of the season

We set out the first weekend of May for our first camping trip of the season.  The unusual warmer spring temps had us itching to get back to our camping days as soon as we could.  We didn't go to far from home, our somewhat local State Park.  The girls love going here for the bike trails.

Lots of time was spent riding the bikes up and down the road in front of the camper as well as several daily/nightly bike rides as a family.

We picked a lot right in front of the playground so Chad and I could sit at the camper and see the girls at the playground.  Perfect!

 

A.Hildy came out on Saturday to join us.

She came just as we were finishing up our fishing trip.  Each girl was able to catch several fish!

Reese wasn't sure she wanted to kiss the fish, but thought she could touch it.

Addy's got one!

Seriously, I think we could've just bought some wax worms and that would've kept the girls entained as well as actually fishing.

A whole family of worms....nice.

We were able to see the Super Moon without the city lights distracting.

A great start to a much anticipated camping season!

addy's spring break

I was looking through the pictures on the ipad today and found these pictures I took from Addy's spring break hospital stay.  Unfortunately this is where Addy and I spent the majority of our break.  We had a really great room and could see how great the weather was even if we couldn't be out enjoying it...

 Addy got lots of great gifts from the hospital staff as well as a couple of really great Easter Baskets from when the Easter Bunny visited her (twice).
