father's day

My girls (and I) are so blessed to have the greatest Daddy ever!  We love you Chad and are so thankful for your love for us and all your hard work for our family.

Happy Father's Day, Chad!  And also to my Dad and Dad-in-law!!  We are all so blessed.

Mount Olympus - Part 2

Day 2 we woke up to a bit chillier weather.  We had to pur out sweatshirts on, but we were excited for another fun day.

Reese and Sammi.  Poor Sammi didn't get in many of the pictures, but I promise she was with us the whole time!  ; )
First up was the big go-karts through the Trojan Horse.

Chad and Presley.
Bob and Ryne.
Nikki and little Addy.
Chad and Addison.
Next it was back over to the kiddie rides.

And then we moved to the indoor water park.
 Presley, Grace and Addy.

Presley was loving the body slides!

And was so happy she could easily do the ropes course.
Addy too!

After a day of play we went downtown to the shops and a quick walk on the river walk.

And then we headed to our other favorite place for dinner, Buffalo Phil's.
Not sure where she picked up this pose! ha.
"Stick 'em up!"
Ryne the cowboy.
And cowgirl Addy.
Reese found a new friend.
Waiting for the train to deliver our food.

Such a stinker!  Love her grin.

The next morning we went back to the indoor water park and then quickly tried a few of the new outdoor water slides.

Chad convinced Addison to try out this new slide...she liked it....except for the going backwards part.
And Presley agreed to go on this slide with him.

After a morning in the waterpark with a few last rides it was off to a couple more gift shops before we headed back home.  It was a quick trip, but we packed in lots of fun!

Wisconsin Dells - Mt. Olympus Part 1

The day after school was out we took off bright and early on a secret get-away.  We had only told the girls that we would be doing something really fun and we would spend 2 nights away.  We had to tell them that part because I had to get their bags packed and they saw me carrying up their bags from the basement.  We woke them up at 5:30 and were on the road by 6.  We left a note with a clue on it on the table when they were eating their breakfast and gave them more clues along the way.  At our first stop we told them that we weren't going alone...our friends the O'Hara's were meeting us there!  When we were about 2 hours into our trip they finally figured out that we were going back to Wisconsin Dells!  We were staying at our favorite hotel there, Mount Olympus!  We got there late morning and were able to get our wristbands to explore the park before our room was ready.  We went right over and started on the rides.

Reese loved that she was big enough to drive her own go-kart.
Addy too!
Always with the tongue sticking out...

I promise that Addison and Presley really loved this ride (and went back on several more times), but I love Presley's expression here...

After we rode a few rides we met up with our friends.
All the bigger kiddos were able to ride the kiddie roller-coaster.

They were able to ride it again...and again...and again... There was no wait ever so the attendant kept asking if anyone wanted off and then would start them over again.

Grace and Presley.
Ryne and Reese.
Little Addison and Presley.

Our first night we went to our favorite pizza place for dinner, MooseJaw.

Love that Presley moved her hair bow to the moose antler.  ; )

All the kiddos Grace, little Addison, Presley, Addison, Ryne, Reese, and baby Sammi.

After pizza it was back  to the indoor water park before turning in to bed.  Fun day of surprises!
