Presley has started playing Upwards Basketball and has had her first 3 games already. She is loving it. Chad is her coach. It's so much fun and I'm amazed at how much the kids have learned so far.
It's quite entertaining...especially the first game.
Presley is doing a good job of understanding when she needs to follow her "guy" on defense and when she is trying to get open on offense.
She's also quite a dribbler and loves bringing the ball up the court.
She still prefers to pass instead of shoot, but has tried scoring a couple of times.
Her first attempt....she really has to "psyche" her self up.
Daddy showing the kiddos how to get ready to defend.
"I'm open, I'm open!!!"
"I told you, I'M OPEN!"
"Now, let's see what I can do?"
"How about a lob pass inside?"
She's already had quite the crowd cheering her on...A.Hildy, Mawmaw & Pawpaw, Nana and Papa, A.Cindy and cousin Gabi have all come at least once to cheer her on.
Looking forward to the rest of the season. GO DRAGONS!

you forgot to say that Nana and Papa were cheering her on too at one game :)
Thanks, I meant to put that in there...taken care of now. I am still trying to figure this all out. :)
Yay - welcome back to the blogging world!
Pres looks so grown up playing basketball - so cool that Mom is her teacher and Dad is her coach :)
We signed the boys up for t-ball this spring - can't wait! Might have to consider basketball in the future too.
