My baby girl went ahead and turned 3 on me without even asking!
It's just hard for me to wrap my brain around that my "baby" is now a kid. Not really even a toddler anymore. She is fully potty trained - all day and night (and has been for months), she is about to stop her naps, and even though I can't imagine it is old enough to start pre-school in the fall if we decide to. Crazy, I tell you!
We celebrated her birthday this past Saturday (on her actual birthday). I was a bit worried that the 70 degrees that the weathermen had promised wasn't coming, but it turned out to be a beautifully sunny day.
Reese enjoyed playing with all her cousins and opening the many great gifts.
It was a bit windy to light the candles on her cake, but we used our imagination and that was just fine with Reese.
Chad took her to the Dr. on Monday for her 3 year check up and Dr. said she looked great. She is a little peanut (10% for both weight and height) but growing right on her track.

Awwww - happy birthday, Reese! I can't believe she's that old either! How in the world are these kiddos getting so big?!?!
It is sooo bittersweet when the baby starts growing up...she is adorable and so sweet! Had a great time with her on her birthday! :)
