fall fun

We had made plans to head the pumpkin patch/apple orchard last weekend, but the weather just didn't cooperate.  Thankfully it did today so we were able to re-schedule our cousin date.
 First up a hay ride.
 Some pumpkin pictures.
On the hunt for some apples with Uncle Matt leading the way.
We were a bit worried we were too late in the season.  We couldn't find many good ones to start off with.
But then we found the jackpot.
Always biting on the side of her mouth...wouldn't want her 2 wiggly top teeth to come out.  ; )
I can't even tell you how many apples Addy ate before we left....  I lost count.

To end our fall day we headed back to A.Jenny's for chili and cornbread and playtime.  Ended with pumpkin cupcakes and ice cream.  Thanks for a fun day cousins!

special visitor

Addy and I had a special visitor stop in our classroom this week.
Our class won an ice cream party for having the most kids from our class visit Chick-Fil-A when it was our school's spirit night.  Yay us!
P.S. Picture is from my school camera so it's a bit fuzzy.

fall camping

***Ooops.  Just realized I never pushed "publish" on this.  Got this done 2 weeks ago.  Enjoy.

We headed out for one final fall camping trip after school on Friday.  We stuck kind of close to home so we were able to get to the campground and set up for dinner fairly early.  While enjoying our campfire, Reese unfortunately got sick.  Her poor little belly was not feeling good at all.  It seemed to come on all at once.  And then several more times.  : (

Since we were so close to home (and had lots of laundry to do) we decided to come back home and let her sleep in her own bed.  Thankfully she seemed to feel much better and we headed back up to the campground first thing in the morning.  We met up with our friends.
And spent lots of time riding bikes and playing at the playground.

Presley and Grace.
Reese and Ryne.
Such a stinker.
A picture of all the big kids.  There were 2 more little ones that were with their mommas.

Checking out the maze.

We enjoyed a beautiful Indian summer and loved all the colors.  Thankful that the rest of the weekend we all stayed healthy.

b*town - part 3

Last Day -
We made one last trip to campus so we could take our time walking through the different buildings.

Chad wanted to show the girls where he took most of his classes.
After our morning walk it was one final good-bye to cousin Tyler.
And were were thrilled cousin Trenton came down to visit with us all weekend too!
Back to the campground to pack up.

Finally time to make the trek back home.  Such a fun weekend.  So glad we could spend it with family.

b*town - part 2

Day Two -
We got up bright and early to check out downtown again.  We hit loaded up on some IU gear for the football game, visited the Sample Gate, grabbed a quick lunch and took a bus to the stadium to catch the football game.

Reese wasn't feeling pictures...
And cousin Tyler wanted a picture with her, so a bribe was offered.
She's thinking about it...
Ok, fine I can smile.

Sea of red.
It actually ended up being a closer game than was thought.  IU hung tight with Penn State for most of the game.

The cheerleaders came up into the stand for a bit and were pretty close to us.  That's always a highlight for the girls.

Along with the concession stand, of course.
Chad's highlight was the introduction of the men's basketball team.

After the game we headed back to the camper for a bit to let the dogs out, play and relax before heading back to town to go out to dinner.

Presley took this picture of Chad and I.

I think we must've done a good job at wearing Ruby out.  : )
