b*town

Day One -
This past weekend we took a trip down to Bloomington to visit our nephew Tyler.  We took off Thursday after school so we could enjoy a nice long weekend.  It took us a bit longer than it should've because we had to stop a couple of times (dinner, dogs and little kiddos), road construction and it was also pretty windy.  But we were happy to make it safely.  Friday morning we got up and headed to campus.  Chad wanted to visit his old apartment from when he went to IU.
I forgot to take my camera along this morning, but we hit downtown and were able to do some souvenir shopping and also were able to visit cousin Ryan and see his house.  After several hours we headed back to the campground for a late lunch and some jumping on the giant pillow.

We happened to look across the road and saw several horses right up by the fence.  We walked over and they were eager to have the attention.

Because they were so friendly, Chad ran back to the camper and got some of our apples so the girls could feed them.

Group picture time - look at Addy's face...not sure what is happening to her hair.  The horse is checking it out.
Whoops, he got her!
Now all better!
Ruby even got to meet her first horse.  Look at the white horse...he was trying to give Ruby a kiss!
After horse time the girls checked out the swimming pool.
Next up was dinner and a nature hike.  We were told there was a waterfall.  We set out to find it but unfortunately it had dried up.  Oh well.  At least we were able to see where there used to be a waterfall.
Before heading back to our camper we stopped for a quick round of mini-golf.  Gabi helped show Addison how to putt.
Chad gave Reese a few lessons.
Presley was a pro.

We found this little guy on our nature hunt.
