Still working on catching up from our wonderful summer break...not sure I'll ever get completely caught up. And that's ok with me. But what a nice relaxing break from the blog it was.
We were lucky enough to be able to spend a week at our favorite campground, Yogi Bear. Unfortunately we picked the HOTTEST week of the entire summer. Man, was it a scorcher! But a good time was had, regardless. We tried out a few new activities this week. A favorite was definitely the mining. The girls loved searching through the sand and finding treasures. And after all the treasures were found they spent another hour at least matching them up with the pamphlet discovering what treasures they had actually found!
Of course when it's so hot out, it's a must that you eat ice cream...every single day!
We also let the girls try out the putt-putt course for the first time. Of course we had to wait until early evening when it cooled down (just a tad).
We can't camp without picture time!
Lots of time on the waterslides!
Evening bike rides.
Water balloon fights.
And of course pool time!
