Saturday morning we headed back to the pool for one more swim before packing up and heading to our next vacation spot, South Haven. We stayed at Sunnybrook RV Resort.
A.Hildy joined us there for our first night. We headed downtown to check out the stores.
We got a suggestion to eat dinner at Su Casa's and it didn't disappoint. It was GREAT! (We may have eaten there two times during our stay.)
We did LOTS of fishing each night. The fishies loved hot dogs. Who knew? All the girls (and even me) were able to catch several fish.
The pond is stocked and the fish are obviously use to people "catching and releasing" them. It seemed as if the fish followed you as you walked. They knew what was coming. Most of the fish were blue gill, but there were a few catfish and even a couple of large size bass that swam on the bottom. Reese was always on the look-out for the "big fish".
I think she spotted the big guy.
Presley was big enough to cast her own line and reel it in by herself.
Some nights we had campfires and all the s'more goodness other nights we stayed in the camper and had some popcorn on the stove.
Mawmaw and Pawpaw came up and joined us for a pre-anniversary dinner. We tried out another suggestion, Clementine's. Another good one.![]()
After dinner the girls were treated to dessert.![]()
Of course we had lots of pool days.
For our anniversary (wow - 8 years already) we headed back downtown for a walk on the beach and boardwalk. I thought I'd ask Presley to take our picture.
Looks like I need to help her with her camera skills a bit. Awkward angle and cut-off heads. ; )
This is what most of our evenings looked like...down on the pier.
Ruby, our camping dog who probably doesn't even know her own home yet.
While we were packing up the camper I couldn't find the girls. I found them sitting by the side of the road saying hi to everyone who walked past. And Reese then asked them, "What's your name? Where you going?"
Guess we need to work on stranger danger a bit more. : )
We had lots of fun and made lots of great memories. The girls really do get along great most of the time and are so good at playing with each other. They can find fun in every situation.
Our little vacation was perfect for us. We had beautiful weather the entire time. We were able to get away for a bit with our family without spending a whole lot of money. Perfect.

Great pics, Amber!!!! Loved looking at all of them. And when I go back to your older posts of Ruby when you first got her, she does look like she is getting bigger already!!! Adorable.
