Dunes

We decided this summer we were going to check out a few different campgrounds this summer and last weekend we hit a new one for us.  We went to the Dunes State Park.  Lucky for Chad it wasn't too far from Chad's favorite restaurant. 

 After we set up camp Friday night  A. Hildy joined us for the weekend and met us at the campground and then we headed out to enjoy dinner. 

 After dinner we stopped by the store to look around and pick up a few things. 

Saturday after a relaxed morning we packed a picnic lunch and headed to the beach for the day.  The weather was warm and sunny.  Perfect for a day at the beach. 

 The girls had fun playing in the water, chasing birds, building sand castles, making sand angels, and getting buried in the sand. 

After some fun getting buried we took the girls over to the dunes so they could climb up them and then run down.  Lots of giggles followed.

  The girls had a great time.

 After the beach we headed back to the camper for some snacks,

 scooters,

 and plenty of bike rides.

 And before we went out on night walk we had a little fun with sparklers.

  

We had a great weekend...good weather, good fun, good food, and more good memories made.
